This paper contains new results on the application of the theory of periodic surfaces to the problem of determining the drag free orbits of satellites around an oblate earth. This theory employs a description of solutions which involves two distinct parts: One element describes a surface on which solutions travel and the second element describes the solutions on that surface. The formulae giving the approximate solutions were tested numerically and the results included in the paper.
