Exact distribution of sphericity criterion in the complex case and its percentage points

Abstract

The exact null distribution of the sphericity criterion for testing against the alternative σ>0 and unknown, in the multivariate complex normal distribution is obtained and percentage points are computed for p=3(1)6, ∑ = 0.05 and 0.01 and various values of the sample size.
