Early mobilization after surgical repair of knee ligaments does not seem to compromise ligament healing or result in undue ligamentous laxity. In fact, the mobilized knees in this study were more stable, and the medial collateral ligaments were stronger. These results support the concept that in dogs early mobilization after knee ligament repair may be beneficial.
