Two species belonging to two different genera within the family Spionidae and not previously found in Icelandic waters are reported. These species are Prionospio dubia Maciolek, 1985 and Aurospio dibranchiata Maciolek, 1981. Distribution maps are presented and discussed. Taxonomic problems of P. cirrifera Wirén, 1883 are discussed, as are the distributions of P. steenstrupi Malmgren, 1867 and A. banyulensis (Laubier, 1966).
