MRI Monitoring of Neuroinflammation in Mouse Focal Ischemia

Abstract

The present study shows that MR-tracking of phagocyte cells is feasible in mice, which may have critical therapeutic implications given the potential neurotoxicity of activated microglia/macrophages in central nervous system disorders.
