Tensor permeability of partially magnetized ferrites

Abstract

Formulas for the tensor permeability of partially magnetized ferrites are derived under some assumptions. The results obtained from this theory indicate that low-field losses are absent if <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">\omega_{M}/\omega\leq\sqrt{5/3}</tex> . The theory is in good agreement with experimental results.
