We examine the sign reversal of the vortex Hall effect in MoGe/Ge superconductor-insulator multilayers. To specifically examine the relevance of thermally generated Josephson vortices between the layers, we compare our results with single-layer two-dimensional superconducting MoGe films. While the extent of the Hall sign reversal regime does depend upon the interlayer vortex coupling, we conclude that Josephson vortices are not the dominant contribution to the Hall sign reversal for MoGe/Ge multilayers. Our results differ from recent suggestions for Y-Ba-Cu-O single crystals.
