The structures of two (allyl)palladium(II) bis(oxazoline) complexes containing (R,R)-2,2'-(1-methylethylidene)-bis(4-benzyl-4,5-dihydrooxazole) as a chiral ligand are reported; {(η 3 -allyl)[(R,R)-2.2'-(1-methylethylidene)bis-(4-benzyl-4,5- dihydrooxazole)]pallalium (II) hexafluorophosphate, [Pd(C 23 H 26 N 2 O 2 )(C 3 H 5 )]PF 6 , and [(R,R)-2.2'-(1-methylethylidene) bis(4-benzyl-4,5-dihydrooxazole)] [η 3 -(1.3-diphenylallyl)]palladium (II) hexafluorophosphate, [Pd(C 23 H 26 N 2 O 2 )(C 15 H 13 )]PF 6 . Complexes of this type are of interest as enantioselective catalysts for allylic substitution reactions. The structural data suggest a possible mechanism for the observed enantioselectivity of these catalysts
