Preliminary results of a measurement of the angular distribution of 1.08A neutrons scattered by liquid helium at 4.2\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}K over the angular range 3.8\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} to 31\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} are reported. A maximum in the scattering occurs at 21.3\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}, corresponding to a peak at 3.6A in the radial distribution of density about any atom in the liquid.
