Abstract

Dual nature: A 3D CuII coordination framework 1⋅2 H2O shows distinct single-crystal to single-crystal transformations by removing guest cubic water clusters under different conditions, forming a pair of supramolecular isomers with a 3D lvt (threefold interpenetrating) or 2D kgm (Kagomé) network, which also reveals both rigid and flexible nature of this dual crystalline material (see scheme).
