Idiopathic Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss Is Not an Otologic Emergency

Abstract

Delay in initiating treatment does not appear to influence the final degree of hearing loss. Idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss cannot be considered as an otologic emergency.
