The Anesthetic Management of a Patient with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria

Abstract

This case report describes the anesthetic considerations for a patient with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria. Specific strategies to be applied in the perioperative period to prevent hemolytic episodes and venous thrombosis are also discussed.
