Dislocation studies in bismuth-antimony alloy single crystals by etch pit technique

Abstract

Dislocation studies in Bi-Sb crystals were made by etch pit techniques on the cleavage plane. A new reagent capable of revealing dislocations inclined to the cleavage plane is reported. Dislocation spirals and loops on the quenched specimens have been observed.
