Abstract

We postulate that urinary trypsin inhibitor may suppress the production of inflammatory cytokines induced by lipopolysaccharide in mouse peritoneal macrophages through suppression of the lipopolysaccharide receptor, inhibition of the intracellular signal transduction system, and decrease in the nuclear factor-kappaB level.
