Inheritance of Resistance to Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus (TYLCV) in Lycopersicon pimpinellifolium

Abstract

Analysis of F 1 , F 2 , and backcross populations from crosses of L. pimpinellifolium with the susceptible cultivar revealed that resistance is controlled by a single dominant gene. It is suggested that the symbol Tyle be assigned for this gene in L. pimpinellifolium
