Effect of Multidisciplinary Treatment with High Dose Rate Intraluminal Brachytherapy on Survival in Patients with Unresectable Esophageal Cancer

Abstract

These results strongly suggest the use of HDR-ILBRT, as a component of multidisciplinary treatment for unresectable esophageal cancer, was significantly effective and HDR-ILBRT contributed to improve outcomes in patients with advanced esophageal cancer. HDR-ILBRT should be established as a component of treatments for unresectable esophageal cancer.
