Characteristics of Refractory Oxide Coatings Produced by Flame‐Spraying

Abstract

Many ceramic materials can be applied as coatings by flame‐spraying rods made from these materials. Aluminum oxide coatings, stabilized zirconia coatings, and zircon coatings have been studied in detail with regard to their structure and their physical and thermal properties.
