Negative ion mass spectroscopy of natural products. VIII—α-Amino acids

Abstract

The negative ion mass spectra (2–4 eV) of twenty free α-amino acids have been investigated and compared with the respective low voltage positive ion mass spectra (6–16 eV). The important fragmentation processes are discussed.
