A chaotic attractor has been observed with a nonautonomous cellular neural network (CNN) using an opposite-sign template. The network consists of only two cells and is driven by a sinusoidal input. It possesses the horseshoe structure. The map shows multiple strongly stretching and folding processes of the volume of flow. The attractor has interesting fractal structures.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
