Abstract

Interaction of [Ti(η-C 5 H 5 ) 2 (O 2 CC 5 H 4 N) 2 ] with squareplanar cis-[Pt(PR 3 ) 2 (OSO 2 CF 3 ) 2 ] in MeNO 2 gives mixed Ti–Pt tetrameric metallomacrocycles, via self assembly, in excellent yields.
