Abstract

A well-suited fast and reversible optical NO2 recognizer, based on a covalently assembled monolayer of 5,10,15-tri-{p-dodecanoxyphenyl}-20-(p-hydroxyphenyl) porphyrin molecules on silica substrates, is shown.
