Tl₆X₄S − ein neuer Chalkogenhalogenidtyp in Thalliumsulfid-Thalliumhalogenid-Systemen Tl₆X₄S − A New Chalcogeno Halide Type in Thallous Sulphide-Thallous Halide Systems

Abstract

Abstract Phase studies were performed in the system Tl 2 S + TlX (X = Cl, Br, I) and showed the existence of a new type of compound Tl 6 X 4 S in the quasibinary systems. In addition, in the iodide system a high temperature compound Tl 3 SI exists. The enthalpy of melting of Tl 6 I 4 S is given.
