Electron capture and loss by fast lithium ions in H and H₂

Abstract

Cross sections for electron capture and loss by Li+, Li2+ and Li3+ ions in H and H2 have been obtained in the energy range of 65-1500 keV from measurements using a tungsten-tube furnace to provide a target of highly dissociated hydrogen.
