Moulding a honeycomb framework around[Co(η5-C5H5)2]+via charge-assisted C–H···O hydrogenbonds

Abstract

Strong O–H···O hydrogen bonds between [(Hta)(H 2 ta)] - anions derived from D,L-tartaric acid [H 2 ta] hold together a honeycomb superanion templated around the cation [Co(η 5 -C 5 H 5 ) 2 ] + via charge-assisted C–H···O hydrogen bonds.
