This paper reports the experimental results of the developed barium ferrite tape, which shows the feasibility of 7 Gbits/inch <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sup> recording density.
