Abstract

A case of hyperkeratosis palmoplantaris with periodontosis is described in a six-year-old boy. A marked retardation of somatic development was noticed, with retardation of carpal bone ossification. The child presented typical transgredient (migratory) skin lesions of the palmoplantar regions, which appeared at the 11th month of life. He lost all his deciduous teeth at the age of four, and the first permanent four molars were loose and presented signs of pyorrhea.
