Jumping particle model. A study of the phase space of a non-linear dynamical system below its transition to chaos

Abstract

Bifurcation cascades in a non-linear dynamical system are directly observed. Experimental results are compared with predictions of the Zaslavskij-Rachko mapping. Experimental evidence for coexistence of a number of individual modes is provided.
