Silastic Splints Reduce Middle Meatal Adhesions after Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

Abstract

Middle meatal silastic splints reduce adhesions after ESS but increase early nasal obstruction and discomfort. Their use did not significantly change symptom or ethmoid cavity scores at 12 weeks.
