Abstract

The effects of temperature and strain on the electrical resistivity of a two s-d hybridized band model which describes concentrated transition and noble metal alloys is investigated. This model accounts for a negative temperature coefficient of the resistivity as observed in some of these alloys; the application to strain gauges is discussed.
