Complex of the type [Y2Os(µ-CO)2(µ-dppm)2RhX](Y = Cl or Br: X = Cl, Br, I, SCN, or N3) have been made either as described in the title or by metathesis; the crystal structure and the i.r. spectrum of the title compound suggest strongly bridging CO groups.
