The authors have unrealistically approximated that all common corner blockages of flow boundaries on the critical spherical sink surface CSSS are in the forms of complete spherical sectorsurfaces, which are spherical wedge surfaces in reality. Therefore, the geometrical terms representing, but not equal to, the common corner blockages of the flow boundaries in a rectangular canal with or without a dead-end wall , JH, K1Z1, K2Z2, K3Z3, K4Z4, and their equalities given in the paper must be corrected as explained in the following.
