When Na+ is excreted under similar conditions into 0 1 M-KC1 with NaCl ranging from zero to 1-0M, little reduction in the rate of Nae excretion occurs up to an extemal Na+ value of 0-2M. At an extemal value of 0 43 M the Na excretion is approximately 50 % that at zero Na+ concentration.
