High-field nuclear orientation measurements in dilute PtCo alloys are compared with magnetization measurements by Tissier and Tournier. The results imply the proportionality of the hyperfine field ${H}_{\mathrm{hf}}$ and the single-impurity magnetization ${M}_{s}$, and thus of the local magnetization ${M}_{1}$ and the induced part of the giant moment ${M}_{i}$. The saturation behavior can best be fit with a simple local spin-fluctuation model giving ${H}_{\mathrm{hf}}(\mathrm{sat})=212$ kOe and ${T}_{K}\ensuremath{\simeq}1$ K.
