Haemodynamic responses and population pharmacokinetics of midazolam following administration to ventilated, preterm neonates

Abstract

As only minor cerebral and haemodynamic effects were found with the use of midazolam in stable ventilated preterm infants, it appears to be a safe, short-term sedative agent.
