Survivability evaluation of optimum network node placement in a hybrid fiber-wireless access network

Abstract

Mixed integer linear programs for minimum cost FiWi deployment and survivability of the resultant network under nodes failure are formulated and evaluated. Number of potential installation sites determines the network's feasibility and survivability.
