Intravitreal Tissue Plasminogen Activator for Acute Central Retinal Vein Occlusion

Abstract

Intravitreal tPA administered early in the course of central retinal vein occlusion did not lead to catastrophic hemorrhagic events. A randomized clinical trial is necessary to determine its efficacy.
