Dyeing and Printing Methods for the Coloration of Carpet Yarns and Carpet Piece by Jet‐impregnation Methods

Abstract

The jet‐printing machines developed to date are outlined, and the equipment available to programme such machines mentioned. Advantages of jet‐printing systems are listed and disadvantages discussed, including the results of varying such parameters as liquor viscosity, jet pressure and jet size. The criteria affecting the selection of dyes and auxiliaries are also given.
