ABSTRACT This paper presents a field application of microbial treating in the Altamont/Bluebell Field. The project demonstrates the use of microorganisms to treat high wax content crude oil to improve field operations, reduce chemical use, conserve lease fuel, increase production and enhance oil recovery.
