Synopsis Phosphorus, dry matter, nitrogen, magnesium, potassium and calcium accumulation by the mature corn plant grown under conditions of decreasing soil moisture supply were 40, 44, 50, 65, 71 and 93%, respectively, of the values obtained for the mature corn plant produced with adequate moisture throughout the growing season.
