Abstract

TOXICOLOGICAL studies of a commercial I miticide, Aramite, hepatocellular carcinomas were induced in a strain of rats receiving high oral doses.12 In subsequent investigations, large numbers of rats were kept for 2 years either on diets containing lower levels of Aramite or on basic control diets. In addition to instances of cancer, nodules consisting of liver or bile duct cells were found in the livers of both the control and the experimental animals.
