Indefinite Quadratic Solid Transportation Problem

Abstract

This paper presents an algorithm to find a locally optimum basic feasible solution to a solid transportation problem wherein the objective function is indefinite quadratic. Starting with an initial basic feasible solution, a study is made to obtain conditions under which the solution can be improved. The criterion for declaring a basic feasible solution to be locally optimal has also been established.
