Reproductive Morphology and Mechanics of Mating of the Codling Moth, Laspeyresia pomonella12

Abstract

Studies of the internal and external reproductive systems of Laspeyresia pomonella (L.) show they are similar to reproductive systems described for other Tortricoidea. The mechanics of mating and sequence of spermatophore formation are described.
