Several expressions, suitable as reference relations, pertaining to the composition and temperature dependencies of the properties of orthorhombic YBa 2 Cu 3 O x superconductors have been derived from statistical assessments of collections of data from independent experimental studies. Relations are given for (1) the critical temperature vs oxygen content, (2) the lattice parameters at room temperature vs oxygen content, (3) the lattice parameters at fixed oxygen content vs temperature, (4) the anisotropic thermal expansion vs temperature, (5) the isotropic polycrystalline thermal expansion vs temperature, and (6) the mass density vs temperature.
