Adverse outcome of isolated fetal intra‐abdominal umbilical vein varix despite close monitoring

Abstract

We suggest that the course of FIUV is unpredictable, with a high fetal mortality rate. Close fetal monitoring with early delivery at 34 weeks' gestation should be advocated.
