Abstract

A new nonlinear process, which can explain the high effective temperatures of pulsar radio emissions, is proposed. It is due to the excitation of low frequency Alfvén waves by waves resonantly interacting with the electrons and positrons in the pulsar ultrarelativistic plasma.
