Durometer Measurements of Skin Induration in Venous Disease

Abstract

The durometer is an effective and reliable instrument for measuring the degree of skin induration in venous ulceration and its readings are not affected by edema. Ulcers occur in skin most affected by lipodermatosclerosis.
