We have searched for isolated radiofrequency pulses of extraterrestrial origin, relying on their dispersed arrival time to disttmguish them from terrestrial interference. Simultaneous observations at widely separated stations produced no coincident events, although several isolated events showing the expected signature were seen at each station.
