Copper‐catalyzed alkyne cycloaddition on electron deficient azides <i>via</i> tetrazolo[1,5‐<i>a</i>]pyrimidines

Abstract

Abstract magnified image Tetrazolo[1,5‐ a ]pyrimidines are capable of serving as masked azides in copper‐catalyzed Huisgen cyclization with a variety of terminal alkynes, providing a simple protocol for the generation of novel 4′‐substituted 2‐(1′,2′,3′‐triazol‐1′‐yl)pyrimidines.
