Abstract

Interstellar methylamine, , has been discovered in its a, 515-505(73.0 GHz) and 5, 4i4 (86.1 GHz) transitions in Sgr B2 and Ori A, using the 6-m telescope at Mitaka and 1 1-m telescope at Kitt Peak. Column density of methylamine is consistently estimated from these observations to be 4 X 10 in Sgr B2. The 10 transition of HC15N (86.1 GHz) and the 2,2-1,1 transition of SO (86.1 GHz) have also been detected during these observations. Subject headings: interstellar matter - molecules, interstellar
