Abstract

Abstract Combined measurements of the lattice parameter and macroscopic density of KCl crystals containing different amounts of KOH (up to 5 · 10 −3 ) confirm the substitutional model for the OH − centre and provide values for the “size” of the OH − ‐ion in the crystal.
